Rosanna M Ortiz // Founder & CEO

Rosanna M. Ortiz is the creator and Executive Director of fashion week and non-profit 501(c)(3), STYLEWEEK Northeast, and the founder and CEO of RMO Public Relations.

Rosanna Ortiz grew up in Southern California and went to college in Boston, MA where she studied Advertising and Public Relations. In 2001 Rosanna started her professional career when she became the Founder and Creative Director for EP Style, a small firm in the in Washington D.C. market. After her successful start in Washington, Rosanna moved to the Boston area where she became a women’s footwear representative for Via Spiga and Franco Sarto. Rosanna was also writing for several Boston publications, which led her to covering regional fashion weeks.

In 2009 Rosanna moved to Providence, RI and started STYLEWEEK Northeast. Providence is a town with a rich and long history as a design center. Working with a few volunteers Rosanna approached the City of Providence for help in her new venture. David N. Cicilline the then Mayor, now Congressman from Rhode Island recognized the importance of her idea, and helped to finance the first STYLEWEEK Northeast. Rosanna was off and running.
STYLEWEEK Northeast has become the premier regional showcase for local fashion designers in the North East. Rosanna uses all of her skills as a marketer, public relations expert and networker to make STYLEWEEK Northeast an internationally recognized fashion event.

In 2016 Rosanna started RMO Public Relations, which provides full-service PR to emerging and established fashion brands. She was named “Eleven to Watch” by the Providence Journal and was included in “40 under 40” in the Providence Business News. Rosanna has sat on the boards of directors for Fashion Group International, and The American Heart Association of Southern New England. In the summer of 2017 Rosanna worked with The Newport Preservation Society to stage a benefit Pierre Cardin fashion show at the Breakers in Newport for Monsieur Cardin himself.


Kelsey Cregg // Director, Back of House

With a degree in Fashion Merchandising and retail marketing, along with an extensive background in management, Kelsey puts her skills to use at StyleWeek Northeast as the Director of Designer Acquisition and back of house manager. A graduate of Johnson and Wales University, Kelsey made Providence her home in 2010, and joined the StyleWeek team shortly after.

She began her journey with StyleWeek in 2012 as an intern and quickly found herself moving into the position of Executive Assistant to the President, Rosanna Ortiz. Upon graduation, she transitioned into the role she holds today and finds it’s the perfect fit to use her managerial talents, as well as fuel her creativity. Her favorite part of StyleWeek is being able to see the impact the event makes on each and every person involved. Whether you are a participating designer, sponsor, or just a guest attending the shows, StyleWeek is an all-inclusive event that has something for everyone.


Victoria Hathaway // Director of PR & SEED Project Manager

Born and raised in Rhode Island, but molded by New York and LA, this Rhode Island College graduate needed a connection between her traditional public relations education and studio art studies at RISD. Starting as an intern blogger for StyleWeek Northeast in 2014, working both front and back of house, Victoria finally found her perfect balance, fashion PR.

As a Social Media Manager, her PR background shined through with the perfect blend of creativity, which has allowed her to become the current PR Director and SEED Project Manager. Victoria has worked as a Production Assistant during NYFW for Katie Gallagher since 2015, and at RMO Public Relations working on several accounts. Her drive continues to grow her dream career, which she currently works as a freelance stylist and fashion blogger. Victoria’s styling portfolio and blog can be found at The Style Guru.



Sarah Wessel // Event Manager

Sarah is a recent graduate of Johnson & Wales University. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Marketing. Sarah started out her fashion career in retail, as she worked as a Sales Associate for the well-known retailers, Justice and Kate Spade New York.

She left retail to go into the business and event side of the fashion industry. Sarah first started out as a Front-of-House intern for StyleWeek Northeast back in 2015 and then joined the team full time as a Designer Acquisition Assistant.

Sarah loves being able to use her creativity and assist in all aspects of the StyleWeek Northeast production; including both Front-of-House and Back-of-House, and seeing it all come together. She also works as a Social Media Manager and Account Executive for RMO Public Relations.



Christopher Rogers // Executive Assistant

Christopher is currently in his last year at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth studying Textile Design. Always having an interest in fashion, he went to London and studied fashion design at Central Saint Martins for a semester where his passion for fashion grew even more.

After gaining customer relation experience being a manager at American Eagle Outfitters, he left to start his journey in the fashion industry. Christopher started at StyleWeek Northeast in 2017 where he was a front of house intern. He later joined the team as an Executive Assistant.






Brittney Darcy // Assistant, Events & Production

Brittney is currently a student studying Public Relations, minoring in Business and Journalism. Brittney has particularly strong creative and customer relations skills.

With more than 4 years’ experience in Customer Relations, Brittney has worked in retail at well known high end stores, which got her interested in the Fashion Industry throughout the years.

With all of her experience, she has developed excellent long term working relationships with our clients. As of 2017 Brittney is our newest member of the team.
