The STYLEWEEK Bridal 2019 designers will be showcasing bridal-wear on February 3, 2019 at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
ARIANNA NICOLA founded her namesake brand in 2012. Born without a middle name, Arianna took her late grandfather’s first name as her own and is so proud to be recognized with his name along hers within her fashion career. Arianna’s design style is simple, chic and elegant. She works with all clients one on one to create a perfect heirloom gown or accessory. Her designs always incorporate vintage elements with a modern twist. Whether it is playing with non-traditional colors with simple silhouettes or bringing in interesting textures and embellishments, her designs are sure to be flawless and classic on the runway and any wedding ceremony. Arianna’s Spring / Summer 2019 collection will be featured in Rhode Island Monthly’s ENGAGED publication and she is so honored to be a part of STYLEWEEK NORTHEAST BRIDAL for her second consecutive season.

Candice Wu was born in Hong Kong and discovered her love for fashion as a child. After receiving her business degree, Candice graduated from the Boston School of Fashion Design. Candice’s functional and artistic designs are greatly inspired by a mixture of cultural influences, blended with traditional elements and modern ideas.
Several fashion events have featured Candice’s work including Boston Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, StyleWeek Northeast, Rhode Island, LA fashion week, as well as at prestigious institutions such as Museum of Fine Arts, Peabody Essex Museum, Boston Symphony Orchestra, M.I.T Museum, Boston City Hall, In addition, her work has graced the pages of Upscale Living magazine, Vogue Magazine, Marie Claire Magazine, Fashion World Magazine Paris, The Boston Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Improper Bostonian, and several other national print magazines, and she has been featured on Fashion TV, Fox TV, ABC and other broadcast media.
Candice’s has received numerous awards, including the Certificate of Recognition from Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino, the Boston Fashion Award (2012 and 2013), and was honored with the People’s choice Winner of M.I.T. Descience Project in 2014. Best of Boston Wedding dresses Designer 2016 and The Knot Best Of Wedding 2017.
While she has spent many years creating gowns and formal dresses, Candice turned to breathtaking bridal dresses featuring convertible and functional design and adorned with fabulous beading and Swarovski crystal accents that are intricate applied using an exclusive technique. She debuted her stunning couture wedding collection at her bridal boutique, located in Boston’s historic South End.
Aldo’s house of formals was established by Aldo Segama 8 years ago and today has have two locations in Cranston and Newport. We do everything from rentals to sales, and tuxedos to suits. Specializing in custom tailored clothing, we have been recognized in the wedding industry as RI’s top wedding professional. Have won many awards including our latest from Newport Wedding Magazine as the Best Formalwear Provider in the State. Have been featured in Southern New England Magazine and have received the cover of Bliss magazine in 2018.
